Refund Policy

Events can only run if there is enough demand. If the minimum capacity is not reached,  ticket holders will be informed a month before the workshop that the event is cancelled and the full ticket price will be refunded.

Travel Information and Accessibility

The Knoydart Peninsula is only accessible by passenger ferry or on foot via a challenging 30 mile hike. When travelling to Inverie, participants will need to board the Western Isles ferry at Mallaig. The boat timetable can be found at the link below.

Knoydart Farm is located approximately 200m, a 5 minute walk, to the west of Inverie Pier, where the ferry will arrive. Please make your own way to the farm for the starting time of the workshop. In some cases, there will be someone waiting at the pier to greet participants – this will be specified on the individual/specific event page.

Knoydart farm is a working farm, busy growing produce throughout the year alongside the running of events. As such, the terrain is forever changing and there are areas of uneven ground. A gravel path links the workshop spaces, however, some events will involve a tour of the working areas of the farm – so please bare this in mind when considering footwear.

Some events will involve a walk on the pebble beach or through the community woodland, though contingencies can be arranged in advance if participants are unable to walk far or across uneven terrain. For anybody with reduced mobility who is considering attending an event, please get in contact with us so we can provide more information suited to your specific circumstances and we can work to include everyone.

Inverie village centre, where you can find the shop, tearoom and community pub, is ~100m east of the pier.

If you wish to visit any of these there will be time after the end of the workshop before the last boat at 6pm, otherwise we advise visitors who want to explore Knoydart a wee bit more to take the early boat from Mallaig – leaving around 2 hours before the workshop starts.

Sliding Scale

We are able to offer a sliding scale paying system on some or most of our events. Where this is applicable, the following 3 ticket prices will be available – pay less, standard or pay more. We will leave this to the customer’s discretion and ask that you pay what they believe is appropriate for you financial situation. We offer this in the hope that we can provide inclusive workshops accessible for everyone. If you are able, paying more will help us to grow the farm and provide more for our community.
